The "root writing" of "Turning the Page" has also been quite present in my activity as a translator, editor, and proofreader. Translating (English-Portuguese/Portuguese-English) and proofreading (styles, structures, arguments) have in themselves been activities for connection, linkage, resilience: my quest to nourish a text with terms, grammar, syntax, organization, voice, and style to make it clearer, cleaner, more attractive and persuasive for those who read. The texts that I review and translate, like the plants, are also of various "species": theses, dissertations,  reviews,  abstracts, articles, projects, presentations, etc.  

 

My clinical and resilient look has been a plus not only for my own texts but for everyone who lends my meticulous and global look.
